Support for the LGBTQ+ community
Finding a therapist who truly understands your experiences is vital. I offer a safe and empathetic space for individuals within the LGBTQ+ community, as well as any adult seeking counselling whatever their gender or sexuality.
As a gay man, I have an understanding of the experiences of being LGBTQ, and also appreciate that everyone's life is different.
My therapy experience includes counselling clients for LGBT Foundation in Manchester.
I have also been a volunteer at The George House Trust, and a switchboard volunteer at LGBT Foundation.
In private practice, I have worked with many clients from the LGBTQ community with issues covered including addiction, anxiety, bereavement, coming out, chem-sex, co-ercive control, depression, domestic abuse, dating, relationships, work stress and much more.
I have undertaken training about LGBTQ+ issues and will continue to do so, as part of my continuing professional development.
